Michelle Keegan was seen celebrating her impending arrival at a special ‘girls day’. The actress is currently preparing to welcome her first child into the world with her husband Mark Wright.
The loved-up couple sent fans wild when they announced the news in a joyous update just after Christmas. Michelle and Mark shared the news with their millions of followers by sharing a gorgeous picture showcasing the mum-to-be’s blossoming baby bump alongside former TOWIE star Mark, who could be seen looking at his wife adoringly.
The couple, who will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in May, told fans: “2025 is going to be a special one for us…” as they shared the announcement with a stunning photo which showed the couple on a beach, reported to be in Spain, with the sun shining.
Michelle and Mark have continued to keep their pregnancy out of the spotlight but have offered small insights here and there. Earlier this month, Michelle was treated to the most stunning surprise as she appeared to celebrate her impending arrival with her closest friends and family.
The mum-to-be shared a glimpse of the intimate gathering on her Instagram Stories, posting a stylish yet rustic-inspired candlelit table, captioning the snap: “Cuuuuutest surprise brunch with my northern lot.”
The picture showed a wooden tables adorned with flickering white candles, delicate sprigs of baby’s breath in glass vases, and perfectly arranged napkins tied with twine on plates which had been accompanied by what were seemingly personalist biscuit favours for guests.
Now, former Coronation Street star Michelle has been showered with another surprise with her sister-in-law Natalya Wright sharing a glimpse inside the beautiful gathering, which she called as being for ‘girls only’ before the arrival of ‘baby Wright’.
Mark’s sister Natalya helped organise the special celebrations, seemingly alongside Mark’s mum Carol and older sister Jess. They arranged a luxury candle-lit dinner for Michelle, which looked like a baby shower with ‘prediction’ cards seen laid out at each table place.
Seemingly held in a restaurant, pictures showed that there was a long dinner table scattered with bow candles and vases of white roses. There was also a small gift table in the corner of the room as well as a bow covered balloon. “We organised the perfect ‘girls only’ day before a baby Wright arrives… @michellekeegan,” Natalya said.
Natalya also shared an intimate photo in which Michelle could be seen wearing a stylish fitted brown outfit as she showed off her growing bump. Alongside the picture on her Instagram Story, Natalya, who placed a loving hand on Michelle’s stomach, wrote: “Aunties loading for the 4th time…”
Michelle recently revealed her first interview since confirming her pregnancy as well as a gorgeous photoshoot. Sharing the cover of her Grazia magazine shoot, the former soap star on Instagram: “GRAZIA!!! Pinch me moment! Thank you so much for having me @graziauk.” The magazine also took to social media with a string of photos from the cover shoot which was quickly flooded with messages from fans of the former soap star.
Michelle is said to have surveyed the snacks on offer at the magazine’s cover shoot, with them claiming her team requested a few different flavours of crisps’ before Michelle admitted her appetite has changed recently. ‘I’m usually a savoury girl, but now I’m craving sugary stuff,” she said. “I’ll eat a chocolate bar while walking around the supermarket and just give them the wrapper at the checkout.”
