March 6: Prepare for takeoff

Sask Polytech flight simulator

March 8: Tariffs on, tariffs off

Premier Scott Moe on tariff retaliation

Five years ago, the first presumptive case of COVID-19 was detected in Saskatchewan. That single number carried an immense weight as people had been anxiously tracking the global spread of the virus, wondering when it would hit home. The lone infection quickly multiplied into thousands of cases. And while it spun a common thread throughout humankind, the pandemic forced us to endure much of it in isolation. The StarPhoenix spent a week looking back on the pandemic, starting with revisiting some of those moments in photos.
