Surveyor held in bribe case at Manthani Town in Peddapalli

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Manthani Surveyor Jatoth Ganesh, 32 at the office of Tahsildar in Peddapalli district for accepting a bribe of Rs.3,000.
Ganesh, a resident of Dubba Thanda at Kommalavancha village in Mahaboobabad district, was caught red handed at Manthani bus stand when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.3,000 for showing official favour to survey the land of the complainant on the outskirts of Manthani Town and to issue survey report.
Initially, Ganesh demanded Rs.17,000 to do the work of the complainant and received Rs.9,000 as first installment on February 5, 2025 and caught red handed while accepting Rs.3,000 as second installment. As per the demand of Ganesh, the complainant would have to pay Rs.5,000 to him after completion of the work.
The bribe amount of Rs.3,000 was recovered from the possession of Ganesh and the fingers of his both hands yielded positive results in the chemical test. Details of the complainant are withheld for security reasons.
